Project Description

Quinton Cygnets Nursery

We headed to Stratford-Upon-Avon to install our vibrant surfacing at Quinton Cygnets nursery.  They were looking to revamp both the front entrance and playground with our wet pour flooring.

After an initial chat on the phone, one of our representatives headed to the nursery to discuss with the manager her ideas for a colourful design. Once the design and plan of action had been confirmed, work commenced.

Footprint design in playground flooring

At the front entrance, we installed our ‘green mix’ wet pour as a base colour, with an ‘eggshell’ line separating the buggy store. Child-size footprints were then installed in various colours, leading from the gate entrance to the foot door.

In the playground, green mix wet pour continued with another eggshell line separating a ‘blue mix’ area. We then installed a 0.7m roadway, with line markings and zebra crossings in the play area along with numbers 1-5 in yellow wetpour.

One of the benefits of incorporating graphics within playgrounds is that they can add educational values. In this case, the design can promote number recognition along with road awareness.  More ideas on taking learning outdoors with our safety surfacing can be found over on our blog. Alternatively, you can contact our team for ideas and inspiration along with indicative costs.
